GENERAL TERMS FOR THE PROVISION OF THE TELEMACO SERVICE FOR ACCESS TO FUNCTIONS TO CONSULT
1.1 Chambers of Commerce: public sector agencies that operate through their consortium company InfoCamere to provide the functions related to keeping the Business Register, the Economic Administrative Register and other registers and orders assigned to them by law.
1.2 InfoCamere: the Chambers of Commerce consortium for data processing, with registered office in Via G. B. Morgagni 13, Rome, that acts in the interest and on behalf of the Chambers of Commerce to assure and manage the online access services to the various chamber of commerce registers, for them to be available for online consultation and completion in compliance with current legislation, and to ensure the related fees are applied and collected.
1.3 User: anyone who requests access to the Telemaco service for an online link to the national Chamber of Commerce database managed by InfoCamere, enabling them access to the online operations and functions as outlined in art. 2 further to acceptance of these general terms.
1.4 ICONTO: payment service provided by InfoCamere, based on the authorization from the Bank of Italy on 03 January 2013.
2. Subject matter
2.1 With this contract InfoCamere acts in the interest and on behalf of the Chambers of Commerce in granting the User, who accepts, access to the Telemaco service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”), which enables online link to the Chambers of Commerce national database and access and use of the operations indicated in the Annex below called “Table of services and related costs” (hereinafter also referred to as “Table”). In particular, the Telemaco service enables the User, by way of example:
- to access, consult and extract data and documents from the Business Register, as per art. 8 of Law n. 580/1993 and subsequent amendments and integrations and other related implementation regulations, and from the Defaulting Persons Register as per art. 3-b of Law n. 480/1995 and related implementation regulations;
- to send the communications and documents prescribed by current law to the aforesaid registers, and to satisfy all the other requirements as indicated in the attached Table.
3. User’s access credentials to the Service and related responsibilities
3.1 Further to accepting these general terms, the User will receive a message to the email address given when completing the registration form, providing their individual credentials (user ID and password) to access the Service. For security reasons, the User is free to change the password at any time.
3.2 The User has sole responsibility for the safekeeping of the access credentials to the Service, and will adopt all necessary measures to prevent recognition and unlawful use by any third parties. Consequently, the User expressly releases InfoCamere from any liability derived from the illegitimate or unauthorized use by third parties of the user-IDs and passwords assigned to the User.
3.3 InfoCamere reserves the right to provide the User with additional secure authentication procedures to access the
4. Service availability and access methods
4.1 The Telemaco Service is available on www.registroimprese.it from 08:00 to 21:00 Monday to Friday and from 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays, subject to any extensions that may be notified by InfoCamere.
4.2 The User is responsible for obtaining the necessary hardware and internet link to access the Service.
5. Costs for activating and using the Service
5.1 To enable using the Service the User has to pay the costs indicated in the Table below. The Table divides the costs between charges (subject to VAT) and other related costs (such as administration fees and stamp duty) for the activation, the charges and single operations involved in the service.
5.2 The User acknowledges and accepts that InfoCamere is free at any time to change the amounts indicated in the Table, and to integrate the Table by providing the User with additional operations. Users are informed of any changes and integrations to the Table directly in the Service access site and/or by email to the address given in the registration form, with 15 calendar days prior notice to when these changes and integrations come into force, unless a shorter prior notice period that is required by law. As a consequence of these changes to the Table, the User is free to withdraw from the Service in the manner indicated in art. 9 herein.
6. Advance payment method
6.1 Upon first access to the Service, and subsequently at any other access, the User makes an online payment by a credit card accepted by the system or another payment method currently legally available, as an advance due for using the Service, which is not subject to interest.
6.2 Further to the successful outcome of the authentication procedure, any payments made using credit cards or other authorised methods by linked users to access the Service are considered as made in the name and on behalf of the User.
6.3 Before making a payment, the User is asked to indicate the amount being paid as charges (subject to VAT) and the amount for other related fees (such as administration and stamp duty) to enable activating and using the Service. From the paid sum the amounts will be deducted that are due, according to the Table, for the operations performed by the User.
6.4 It is hereby understood that the User is not able to perform any operations that exceed the available remaining amount for the charges and/or other related fees (such as administration fees and stamp duty). 6.5 The User is able to consult the online register of completed operations at any time. Said register is the evidence between the parties that these operations have been performed.
7. Payment through ICONTO
7.1 A User with an ICONTO account may request a standing charge to be activated to this payment account, by means of the available payment tools, for the sums due according to the Table for the single operations performed by the User.
7.2 It is hereby understood that the User will not perform any operations that exceed the available sum in the Payment Account.
7.3 The User is able to consult the online register of completed operations at any time. Said register is the evidence between the parties that these operations have been performed.
7.4. The method for opening and managing the ICONTO account and activating the standing charge are available on www.iconto.infocamere.it. It is understood that opening and using ICONTO is an additional option for the User, who has the exclusive choice of his/her preferred payment method as outlined in art. 6 herein.
8.1 When the credit has been correctly received, the sums paid using the methods outlined in art. 6 will become available for the User and invoiced to them as advance payment.
8.2 In the event payment is made through ICONTO, InfoCamere invoices the sums due according to the use made of the Service by the User.
8.3 Invoices are sent exclusively by email to the address given by the User in the registration form. Should the User not receive the aforesaid invoice promptly due to technical problems, they should contact the InfoCamere Contact Centre by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
9. Stipulation of the Contract, Duration and Withdrawal
9.1 The Contract is stipulated when the User accepts these general terms and receives his/her credentials (User-ID and password), also by email, to access the Service. In the event InfoCamere provides additional secure authentication procedures pursuant to art. 3, the Contract is stipulated when the User makes the first access to the Service.
9.2 It is an open-end contract and the parties may exercise their right to withdrawal at any time by forwarding notification:
- to InfoCamere: certified public email address email@example.com, or by registered letter with signed receipt to InfoCamere S.C.p.A., via G.B. Morgagni 13, 00161 Roma;
- to the User: to one of the certified email addresses, fax numbers or addresses given in the registration form, or through the online function provided by the Service.
9.3 Withdrawal becomes effective after 7 (seven) days from receiving the aforesaid notification.
9.4 In the case of withdrawal, and limited just to the advance payment method, the User will be refunded any remaining amounts deposited to use the Service that have not been used when withdrawal becomes effective. In the case of withdrawal, and limited just to the ICONTO payment method, the standing charge will be automatically revoked.
10. Limited responsibility
10.1 InfoCamere undertakes to diligently provide its services guaranteeing access to the Service for the entire period as given in art. 4 herein, except in case of unavailability for unforeseeable circumstances, for reasons beyond their control and force majeure. In particular, the User acknowledges and accepts releasing InfoCamere from all liability for any damage derived from the unavailability and/or malfunction of the payment instruments due to reasons that are beyond the control of InfoCamere.
10.2 Moreover, in its capacity as manager of the Chambers of Commerce database, InfoCamere exclusively guarantees the conformity of the data that are provided with those in the official Chambers of Commerce database on the date that said data are extracted. Therefore the User acknowledges and accepts releasing InfoCamere from all liability for damage of any nature derived from any inexact or incomplete data in the Chambers of Commerce official database.
10.3 The User acknowledges and accepts that InfoCamere does not accept any obligation nor provides any guarantee that is not expressly envisaged in these general terms.
11. User’s obligations and duties
11.1 The User acknowledges that any resale, computerized distribution and/or reproduction and/or diffusion for copies in any form (mechanical, printed, computerized, etc.) of the data and documents that are extracted by accessing the Service is expressly prohibited. Furthermore, in accordance with current legislation it is strictly forbidden, and will be legally pursued, to use the extracted data from the Service for sending current account payment orders or similar documents which, in form and content, could mislead the addressees into believing that the indicated payments are compulsory to any sort of government administration office, including the Chambers of Commerce.
11.2 Given the exclusive property rights of InfoCamere to the computerized solutions needed to provide the Service, any use of the same must respect the intellectual property rights of InfoCamere.
11.3 Likewise, the User undertakes to use the Service given in this Contract exclusively in the Country where he/she has his/her residence or registered office.
12. Termination for default of the contract
In the case of breach by the User or his/her authorized users of any of the obligations envisaged in article 11, InfoCamere has the right to terminate this Contract for default pursuant to art. 1456 of the Italian Civil Code.
13. Changes to the general terms
13.1 The User acknowledges and accepts that these general terms, the features and provision method for the Service could be freely changed at any time, in particular the access site to the service. Users are informed of these changes directly in the Service access site and/or by email to the address given in the registration form, with 15 (fifteen) calendar days prior notice to when these changes come into force, unless a shorter prior notice period is required by law. As a consequence of these changes, the User is free to withdraw from the Service as per art. 9 herein.
13.2 Likewise, the User acknowledges and accepts that InfoCamere is free at any time to change and integrate the Table of services and related costs, as indicated in art. 5 herein.
14. Applicable law, mediation and place of jurisdiction
14.1 These general terms are governed by Italian law.
14.2 Any dispute arising between the parties regarding the validity, interpretation, enforcement and resolution of these general terms will be formerly submitted for mediation, as per Legislative Decree 28/2010 as integrated and amended by Ministerial Decree 180/2010, to the Mediation Service of the Arbitration Chamber in Rome, whose regulations the parties hereby state knowing and accepting. Should mediation fail, the disputes will be deferred to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Rome, Italy.
15.1 The following annexes are an integrative and substantial part of these general contract terms, which the User expressly states having seen and accepted:
- Annex A “Table of Services and relative costs”.
- Annex B “Information as per art. 13 Leg. Decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003 and subsequent amendments and integrations”.

Information as per art. 13 Leg. Decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003 and subsequent amendments and integrations
The data provided by the User in the registration form for the service are processed to stipulate and execute the contract, as well as to satisfy the legal and fiscal obligations.
In the execution of the contract the data will also be recorded of the operations that are performed in order to charge the User for the services and assistance. These data are recorded in the relative operation register, which the User can consult online.
These data are available for the judicial authorities and/or law enforcement further to express request.
Service access enables cookies on the User’s internet browser software. InfoCamere processes the cookies in anonymously, and they are used exclusively to extract statistical data about browsing in the site that provides the service, and to improve the site usability.
Data supply is not mandatory; however, failure to do so could prevent stipulating or executing the contract.
The user’s data are stored on hard and/or digital copy, accessible to the employees and assistants assigned to data processing.
They may be transmitted to companies, entities, subsidiaries, controlling or affiliated, in order to provide certain services that are related or instrumental to the provision of the Telemaco service.
Pursuant to art. 7 Leg. Decree 196/03, the User has the right to learn of the existence of any data that refer to them, to correct, update or delete them or oppose the processing of said data for legitimate reasons, by sending a specific request by email or certified public email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by registered letter with signed receipt to InfoCamere S.C.p.A, with registered office in Via G.B. Morgagni 13, 00161 Roma, being the data processing manager.
